I’m sure that anyone who’s been married & had a family can associate with the above mentioned. You never stop being a parent , however far away your children are .

Youcannow: God created the donkey and said it will carry everyone’s burden for 40 years . The donkey said that that was too long & can he have 30 years .
God created the dog & said it will protect & look after people, eat what you’re given & live for 40 years . The dog said 40 years is too long , can I live for 20?
God created the monkey & said it will entertain people with its tricks & will live for 40 years .
The monkey said , that too much , can I have only 30 ?
Finally god created man & said I will give you 25 years & you will dominate all other species.
The man said “that’s not enough , can I have the 10 years from the donkey, 20 years from the dog & 10 years of the monkey”? God grants his wishes !
From then on , the man lives 25 years as himself , 10 years as a donkey carrying all the burdens of his house , 20 years as a dog , looking after & protecting his children , eating whatever he is given & 10 years as a monkey , entertaining the grandchildren.
all i can say is, Thank God for chocolate , it eases the pain God created the dog & said it will protect & look after people, eat what you’re given & live for 40 years . The dog said 40 years is too long , can I live for 20?

No! you will never stop being a "parent" no matter what age your kids are. Luckily for me my kids were grown up when I moved to another Country, then my grandkids came along. That's when I felt the difference, even though it was only a 2hr flight away. Messenger ,Whatsapp, Viber kept us going. Plus this song You never stop being a parent , however far away your children are .
