I sometimes use one of thoae old band or chin type oil filter wrenches to open jars. Them tiny little tabs are meant to peel arent they? Asking for a friend.

I actually owned a similar recoil garden hose and it ripped down its length too. I think this ripping happened because I left the water on at the outdoor facet it was attached to and the constant water pressure was too much for its design, maybe.
