I don't know about you . but my doctor I like royalty now, to get an appointment with him is like getting Wimbledon center oourt tickets. So I app[red a little trick I used in Cyprus, where seeing a doctor requires a mortgage on your house. I go to see the pharmacist, who usually knows as much as your doctor and is usually more available. Well, I discovered this is true in GB to those guys really know their onions, and are pleased to be consulted and their opinion listened to. What is your experience?

very caring......after telling her my sytoms she wrote out a permit to buy a gun.
Patients need to belly up to the bar. Call the physician on his or her condescending. Adamantly. I’ve told at least two physicians this: “Be quiet a minute and hear me. Of all your possible resources, I’m the best you have. Your study guides say so, and you know it. I AM a member of the medical team. In fact, I’m on the top rung. I’m the CLIENT. Don’t patronize me. I don’t work for you, YOU work for ME.”
In both instances they did an about-face, apologized, and thanked me for reminding them of the “better way and fine-tuning” of bedside manner. Do not be afraid to advocate for yourself. I currently have ( for 14 years) the best doctor this side of the Atlantic. He is absolutely TOP-SHELF. He knows how to be a physician. Don’t settle for crap. Insist on being fully validated.
