Believe what you See! (6)

Right Wing media has been praising the laurels of Russia and Vladimir Putin for some time now. Fox's Tucker Carlson has urged the USA to leave NATO because most nations do not pay their fair share. The right has now blamed Biden for the Russian invasion of Ukraine - claiming he is weak and Putin is emboldened to move because he knew that Biden was unable to do anything rapidly.

The Putin lovers like Carlson have actually give Putin the help he needed to turn the GOP against any sensible response to the expansion of Russian forces. All Living former presidents have condemned Puting
- except the last president - who praised Putin for his 'brilliant' move into the independent regions of Ukraine.

Biden has been building a coalition of countries - which now number 31 - mostly NATO pact members - who are solidly unified in their support of Ukraine and the independent nations formally of the Soviet Union.
We have been down this road before. How quickly Republicans have forgotten that Ronald Reagan was firmly steadfast in his hatred for the Russian regime and warned of the Russian Bear moving against our friends in Europe. Let's remember the lessons of WW2 which saw German military forces taking Poland in 1938, after minor moves in taking parts of Czechoslovakia. NATO is and will be the only resistance to Putin's moves toward rebuilding the old Soviet regime.

Who is next for Putin? As Ukrainians leave for Poland and Romania - will Putin then push to take countries like Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia? Will he be satisfied with Donetsk and Luhansk? What should the role of the rest of the world be to prevent another 'Poland 1938'?

The USA can not stand idly by - Biden has been right in building a partnership of unified democratic nations objecting with economic sanctions and financial blocks on the Oligarchs. It will not be enough to stop the Russian expansion. Americans have an obligation to support democracy under attack where ever that is. At the moment - democracy is under attack here at home as Republican support for Putin remains strong - which is puzzling. If Democrats are the only sensible adults defending democracy when it is attacked - what good are the Republicans!?

if you were as smart as you pretend to be, you'd read the full transcript of what trump was saying instead of the snippets they spin for your viewing pleasure and zombification.

Draegoneer: you're already onboard with hillary and o'biden.

russia isn't stupid. they're not weak. they are not with out support in what they're doing.

the people you support are. or maybe that's their design. follow the money and sell every one out for the sake of control and the party. while you criticize the fact that russia does deserve credit as a solid nation and force to be reckoned with. they do deserve respect. most countries and nations do.

funny. he's making your clown party look as ignorant and useless as they are. it's their fault that we have to even watch what's happening in ukraine.

so glad you can complain from a position of weakness created by your party.

my last leader built and worked from a position of strength. for the country and the globe. he kept sanctions so russia's pipeline couldn't go through and made sure to allow ours. we wouldn't have to watch any of this now because it wouldn't be happening.
What kind of troll farm idiocy is this? Only a Russian tool would agree that Russia deserves credit and respect. Unprovoked attacks on a neighboring nation is criminal. Putin and his leadership cadre will be held on war crimes and disgraced on the world stage. You, I am afraid, are a captive of your own ignorance. Your thinking is what has brought the world to war. Allow a criminal to govern a nation and this is the result. Trump and Putin and criminal buddies who will share the same cell.

Draegoneer: i don't watch tucker.

i do know how to read and compare to what's going on around me and much of the globe.

when demonrats are in charge, america and the globe loses. never a win-win except for them.

when we have a real leader in charge. every one and every thing seems to do much better. then demonrats go and create a bunch of crisis to knock every one back down again.

too bad we get a real leader only once every 30-40 years or so. it does explain why we can never get back to rock steady again.

mean while big pharma, russia, and terrists have doing pretty well as our throats are cut at home.

luckily, i don't think russia will succeed in it's current conquest. with people like you. the demonrats will succeed in theirs but you won't like it when you realize you're no exempt.

even if not your life time, ever think of the grand children and their children?

i do, every time i look at the national deficit and some demonrat talks about defending democracy as they continue to try infringing my rights. then driving up my cost of living while supporting illegal immigrants and importing the refugees they made. did i mention how they screw up our economy as well?
No sense of history!
The last balanced federal budget was under Bill Clinton.
GW Bush rapidly put the country in peril by botching 9/11 and tanking the economy. You forgot about the housing crises of 2008-2009.
Obama corrected the train wreck and created the longest running economic recovery in history....
..which the Orange guy promptly dismantled. The US was unprepared for the Covid crisis. The medical support system that Orange man dismantled - caused the economic crash of March of 2020. Oil sold for $0 and the stock market dropped by 50%. Unemployment rose to 25%. Did you already forget the disaster reaction that the GOP has made of denying a world wide pandemic????
Biden has righted the ship - the stock market is booming; the Pandemic is nearly over; employers cannot find enough people to fill that are paying bonuses and giving raises.
In spite of the Russian invasion of Ukraine - Biden has managed to coordinate a coalition of 33 countries to sanction and condemn Russia by stopping trade; freezing financial funds in world banks; and building support for a democratic Ukraine.
We are all safer with Joe Biden in charge. I have no doubt that the Orange Useful Idiot would have assisted Putin in taking Ukraine - just like he did to assist Syria when he turned his back on the Kurds.
You may know how to read - you don't know what reading history means. The world is at stake and thank God Joe Biden knows his history. Sorry - your ignorance is a problem. Correct it!
