However, he noted that this has nothing to do with Ukraine or Russia. The decision, he said, is due to "the dynamics of American domestic politics, namely Joe Biden and his administration," the rise to power of which Milanovic supported. "However, in matters of international security, I see inconsistency and essentially dangerous behavior," the Croatian president stressed.
At the same time, speaking about Ukraine, the head of state noted that this country "has no place in NATO", since, for example, such states as Austria, Finland and Sweden, being neutral, however, remain stable countries.
Milanovic also mentioned his political opponents - head of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlich-Radman, Minister of Defense of the Republic Mario Banojic, as well as Prime Minister Andrei Plenkovic. “Let Grlic-Radman and Bane (Banozic - TASS note) go to Brussels, but as for the Croatian army, nothing will come of it, Croatia will not participate in this, and Plenkovic can threaten Russia as much as he wants. Croatia needs to run away from this, like fire," he said."
