CirclipNottingham, Nottinghamshire, England UK22 Threads 826 PostsI’ve noticed an increasing number of Youtube videos are being voiced over by computer generated speech. Sometimes it takes a while to realise that it isn’t a real human voice speaking. No doubt it will soon be impossible to tell whether the recorded voice you are listening to is human or digital. As impressive as that is, I hate it. If I am going to be spoken to, I want it to be by another human being, but if it has to be a machine, I would prefer it to sound like one.
