There are some in other countries too. Allegedly a cross between the delta and tge omicron. Which since the omicron was just like a common cold for most people, could mean that ''cross between the 2'' is just like tge flu'. But don't quote me on that. I'm only guessing....
"And even if it does become the dominant version of Omicron, it may not actually alter the trajectory of the pandemic in countries that have seen a big wave of BA.1. That's because there could be cross-immunity - an infection with BA.1 could offer some protection against BA.2.
It is one for the scientists to watch, rather than for the public to be alarmed about at this stage."
They still don't have over 5,000 dead. However, if they have started a round of tests that pick up Omicron, they will be detecting that because it was there before Covid19. It's the source of the mutation, a comparatively mild population-resident version that's been around for aeons.

Thanks. The feb 2 article is interesting. Science still does not know what a lot of the long term effects from covid-19 an pd variants might be to be non proactive or alert for changes imho.

Indeed, there's a lot that we don't know yet about this virus. It mutate so fast and the range of reaction on infection is very broad: from asymptotic to long-term effects to death.
I'm fully vaccinated (with the buster) and I'll take the fourth dose, if advised, as the available data suggest decrease of disease severity in vaccinated individuals.

I will get a 4th jab too if recommended and available.

galrads: China orders 51 million into lockdown as COVID surges. Chinese officials on Monday reported 1,437 cases across dozens of cities. I hope they keep this new surge isolated in China! More information at:
I had covid , I never took any vaccine. Neither did my oldest son. The rest of my family had 3 shots. They still got sick and not less then me and my son. And my daughter got sick twice. It's not real vaccine they are pushing. Best case it's a medicin, but I doubt it. But if you belive in it go ahead and inject whatever you want. It will work as placebo.
I know the video might be e bit too long for people with short attention span, but it is very , very informative and real...and asks the right questions...

Dedovix: ha, they are still pushing through this scam
No, the new fad is "8 years". Understandable so, as the most of anti-vaxx propaganda originate from Russian troll farms and they are busy now with other subject.

It just seems to be like any number of other videos that you can find on Youtube. It's just that, for some reason, a lot of people seem to find Russell Brand particularly charismatic. But you were right, the video was too long for my short attention span. Given that charisma, and given that he is saying what you want to hear, it is hardly surprising if you are impressed. I did listen for long enough to hear him say you could go and see him live, but I never heard him mention how much it would cost for a ticket.
