Oh Rohaan, that is so sweet. Cats are very comforting especially when they are sitting on your lap and you can hear and feel them purring. They are so loving and loveable. I'm glad that you have him/her. I have always had cats. My first cat I adopted lived for 16 years. I loved her so much. She passed a few years ago and I still grieve for her everyday. I've always had 2 or 3 at at a time. They all got along just fine. It was so funny to watch them all with different personalities. After she passed I was down to only one cat. My neighbor had a white kitty, maybe 3 months old. She up and moved out and abandoned him in the winter and it was snowing. Before she left him behind, I would always have food and water on my porch. I looked out the blinds and he was just looking inside and he was shivering. Unlike dogs, cats are not usually friendly to each other. I 2as sure there would be a nasty cat fight, but I couldn't leave him outside. I had my other cat who was not happy at all. I grabbed him and held him close to my chest. They have never bonded since 5 years ago. They just tolerate each other and both are jealous of each other. I can't imagine life without a pet.
