It's strange. You put your heart and soul into creating a top notch thread, and nobody is interested. Start one with a few lines of nonsense, and the damn thing is likely to go on for pages and pages. We're going through a bad patch at the moment; even my rubbish is being ignored. Can't compete with war and disease. It’s a minefield in this gaff .

Your problem is that you’re not controversial enough . I’ve realised that there are many people waiting in the wings with their daggers out waiting to pounce .
I used to post some controversial threads about women & they were best sellers .
I’m pretty notorious for them , but I had to do something to up the ratings, or this place will go to pot .

.......but look at the wonderful comments from pow sunbird.........14 pages of pure genius........this was once a boreing old dating site.....whereas now .....we have the worlds top people giveing their all for nothing..........once i was a common butcher..........after soaking up all the knowledge on here.......i am a top barrister in london sooooo, thankyou people of c/s..........Everyone is either a philosopher, a war correspondent.

I just think that the past couple of years has taken it's toll on many people. I only ever used to use this site for the "gaming" part of it. Shame they went
I found the "Puzzles" quite therapeutic. My "mouse" was moving faster than a real one I was living in Spain when it went into "Lockdown" on 14th March 2020. I'd just had a hip replacement done 6 months before and I had to walk "with a walking cane and my little shopping trolley to the nearest supermarket and pharmacy" and they weren't close by. A man and wife/partner couldn't even go out in their car together for shopping. 1 person in a car only. Police road blocks everywhere checking up on everyone. Police even checking people walking on the streets to check on their Shopping receipts to make sure that you'd been shopping. No going out for exercise whatsoever. Kids locked up in their apartments for 12 weeks. People taking other peoples dogs out just to get out as you were allowed to take a dog out for a walk but only 50 metres from where you lived. It was horrific but I think it made a lot of people much stronger. I know it has with me.
I'm definitely not a War Correspondent. I have my own views on things and don't keep posting "links" to try and change other peoples minds. I have no idea where or when this conflict is going to end. As for other past wars, they're just History which no one can change.
