They regret it now. I just sent one old picture to ex wife. With her grandfather that now is dead.
That one would have been destroyed as well. But I managed to save it.
I think it's a way to erase a person from ones life at the spur of the moment of rejection.

I feel sorry for the 3rd one to be honest ,never mind the photos from the past.Guess you'd have to have been in a marriage with him to really know the answer.

My fault is that I end relationships after some years if things are not OK.
I even tried counselling, wich was good since the female in question finally understood that it was mostly her fault.

No it was the counsellor that pointed out that it needs to be two that put some effort into the relationship.She just focused on work and let me be the mother of our child.

I recently found a load of photos at my Mum's from when my children were small which neither their father nor I still had. Some were with his daughters from previous marriage, his parents, all of us together etc...Our children now have nothing from past to see!

I sent copies to my grown kids who were delighted and they passed them on to their Dad who was also delighted. In fact it prompted him to write to me and share that he had been thinking about the good times we used to have as a family with my parents and how he was missing them. We've been divorced since 1991!! It was a lovely message to receive ...
