The good old days. Was. When bread tasted. Like bread. Meat tasted like meat. Even Weetabix tasted better. With that. Malt smell.........the youngster of to. Day. Cannot compare. What good food taste like. Now it's pizzas. And take aways......to make something to taste nice they use a stock cube.......... thos.days a man's wages was quite small.......but we still ate. Well. And enjoyed what we ate.......,.the quality. Was there. I could go on. About many things. Why don't you tell me what you enjoyed. As a youngster.............that are now in their 60.s. You paint a dull picture Pete, surely life is better than back in the day, I know it is here in Belfast compared to what it was like for me growing up.. We still got some good butchers and I always try to make my own stock, but if a cube is required then so be it.. I haven't noticed the Weetabix, mine always taste good with a banana and some honey drizzled over lovingly, and of course we have the internet these days too, soon we'll have time machines, mark my words..
