Name_Taken_Two: Totally comforting, now that turns me on, I should be on the other thread.. Yes I've had a Dubliner, a nice Chedder I prefer Dromara mature Chedder, check that one.. Magnifique, I can eat anything, it's hard to fatten a thoroughbred I guess, did you ski when you were there?
Hahaha I'm glad you asked. I was in the hospital for five days. I broke my ankle. Since then I never ever snow ski. I love sports, I water ski a lot, swim used to play tennis but injured my shoulder and since then no bowling or ping pong which I love so much.
bodleing2: I was quite disappointed with St Moritz, as far as the skiing goes that is. Travelled there from Livingno, lovely journey.
Probably because of lack of snow Bod?
Come to Tahoe California or Nevada in the months of January to March and it's a beautiful place to ski.
Google it let me know what you think. Book a trip, I will personally guide you.
My thrill is drive from Hwy 80 to Reno then back road to Tahoe, or straight up from 80 to hwy, 50 from Sacramento. Beautiful and scenic route. I love that dangerous road with my V8, stick shift blasting with my music alone. Hahaha. My only thrill on life besides being with my children and grandchildren.

There was plenty of snow but I found the runs lacked variety and were not very challenging. Very nice scenery though but not quite as nice as the Dolomites where we were a few weeks earlier. I'd like to ski America but wouldn't go there just for the skiing when I've got the Alps so close by, especially the French Alps. Difficult to beat Val d'Isere.

Fair enough Bod incorporate many activities and plan a trip. You've been here many times and perhaps there are some places you'd want to se. Let me know.

There are so many places in the States I'd like to visit. Spent a few months working in Connecticut in 2001, was hoping to do a bit of travelling after the work but had to come straight home. It turned out just as well, I left New York the beginning of September 2001, that would not have been a good time to start a road trip across America.

Oh No September while autumn is in full swing which is beautiful, by November it'd be a very cold and not too conformable. Buin the west coast, it'd have been a very nice three months of a planned trip.
lindsyjones: But no fondue, croissants or cheese. Hohoho Name these foods are heavy for me. I love pizza, though specially the ones that you have to eat with fork and spoon. Hahaha loaded with great tasting cheese. I love cheese but I tend to avoid them because geesh I have to live in the gym if I don't control it. Speaking of which, the only cheese I buy here is DUBLINER cheese. Check it when you go to the store if you have time. Costco imports it from your place.
oh don't I miss Irish food, especiallly supervalue and Centra delis... every second shop here is a restaurant and/or cafe of some sort and not a decent bit of food between them.... can't even get a decent salad roll here for love or money

Try Dubliner, you might like it. Name recommended Dromara, I will check if it's sold here.
I think someone challenged your opinion on the America destroyed thread. Can you please check it? Maybe on the War thread, too.
blathin: Ah yeh I've had Dubliner cheese loads of times alright...
Challenged? lol....sure what odds if they have
