Why so many are concerned Elon buying Twitter will destroy free speech, when free speech is prevented from existing in media and communication as a whole?! Zuckerberg is taking care Facebook is censored...Bezos rules over New York times, even Independent is owned by Saudi billionairs... Why one of the most progressive and controversial figures of this century is a threat to politicians?

All those Democrats who in reality is not democratic, but suppress freedom of speech, is now afraid to be in the looking glass.

Isn't it interesting how everyone is worried the platform will be in the hands of a wealthy man who will have the last say, as if other platforms are owned by beggars?

And how are otherwise gonna tweet with Marsonaouts?
I imagine it's because he's.. apolitical? Maybe not quite the right word but most people today want to make adverts, they're a form of salesmen which is effectively a politician. The powers of persuasion relegate the thing in itself, it's getting you to feel differently about the same thing which is what more and more people's role in life is about; manipulation.
Musk is old school the winner is whoever gets to the moon first. To influence people not by persuasion but by living on Mars. The wow factor is the thing in itself.

We can sort of say Trump was a political outsider but you were actually, and naturally, entering into a higher order of salesmen and deeper level of influenced. That's the living.
And to be fair a different sort of person would come from a nerdy tech background. Because the PlayStation 5 is better than the PlayStation 4. Gadgets are one of the small number of things that have actually improved since the 1980s. It supports the idea that you can best someone in the practical, physical sense rather than the social and emotional.
And if I don't agree with everything Elon Musk says and does, I believe he is indeed an old school guy or if we translate it, a guy who can make sense of what is the purpose of allowing people be free to express themselves. He is the one who knows everyone can speak freely and that's not a given but natural human right... But the disturbing point here is the word "allow"... That's what is wrong with everything that comes from the mass media, somebody allows you to say certain things and censors what they think is against their acceptance or taste, whatever we call it...it's not freedom of speech... And not just speech, you are not allowed to even think differently from what the masses are thinking. If we put on a side the conspiracy theories and have a closer look on what happened the past ten, fifteen even twenty years we can see a pattern circulating... With a different speed but slightly changing the pressure to more and more intense. How much can you take, how much will break you?! And you, of course prove your strength by accepting more and more pressure and being proud of it... That doesn't make you right... It makes you prone to be exceptionally resistant to your own conscious and right to think for yourself...

I don't think that America is scared of anyone. America is a great Country, always has been and always will be. Will "Your Country" be taking over "Facebook" then

Simply because those who are already in power... living on that power as if they eill live forever ... are ALWAYS afraid of a powerful entity they have NO CONTROL over... like Elon Musk who as the world's richest person can not be bridled, silenced, manipulated, bribed to do anything against his will and conscience.
LmiDkC: I think Elon pretends to be autistic but he is actually a full blown psychopath.
That's a shame for the "Real" Autistic" people in this world. This guy isn't Autistic but he suffers from "Tourettes" He is one brave person in my book I personally am sick to death of this war between Russia and Ukraine. The Uk Government should be concentrating on it's own people, taking care of us Uk people but no! Our Uk Government are sending billions of £'s to other Countries while we mere people of the Uk have to foot the bill. It's no wonder that the Uk is on it's knees
Grandsiozzie: Elon is one of the good guys. He can also tell truths, you know the type someone don't want out.
He is probably against limiting free speech. Open debate is encouraged by him.
Yes, he wants a full blown Freedom of speech. Love the guy.
@Krem, darling thanks for the mail. Too bad my travel in 18 was canceled. We'd have met for a cup of coffee. Got refunded anyways. Not like the Philippines, Wheeew that was a lot of money.

lindsyjones: By the way his 43 billion offer was rejected. The latest news is that he's going to create one that's similar from the ground up.
Showdown is what I say.
Martians have reached out to musk regarding twitter. The following is their closing not to a long oration.....
"Still, with all your other projects, this seems like small bugs (a Mars dish like your potato, only with more legs) and a messy world to venture into. It might be wiser for you to stick with building earth’s largest rocket , so that we can see you soon.
On behalf of all of the Red Planet’s citizens,
Marty the Martian
P.S. There are no toilets here so you’ll have to find another spot to do your tweeting."
