lindsyjones: Can you tell me what makes you feel good about them? Besides nostalgia of course. Thanks Phil
Well, at least in some ways, you could say I grew up with those movies. Having grown up and become an adult, I've had to look at life differently. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but there are times that you wish you could be that kid again. I know sometimes I wish I could be that kid again. You know, the kid you used to be?thumbs up

The Odd Couple . ( 1968 ) . The chemistry between Jack Lemmon & Walter Matthau is simply wonderful . Quite possibly the funniest movie I've ever seen .

Amelie because it has a happy ending and she finds love. It is also the movie that inspired Travelocity to have its Travelocity Gnome.

It's a really difficult choice since there are so many movies worthy of being in the conversation. For instance, I recently rewatched Good Will Hunting for the first time in a couple of decades. Can't think of too many movies with better writing. And... The acting is first rate all around and if the story doesn't touch your heart then you likely don't have one.

I have a spreadsheet with 374 movies listed. I've rated all of them from 1 to 5. 1 being the lowest and 5 the highest rating. 13 movies are unrated. I list 1 movie which I gave a 6 rating to which is even stranger because this movie isn't even in English, it's Japanese, it's B/W with subtitles and it's 3 1/2 hours long. I'm sure some of you will be able to guess the name of this movie.
