where is GOD????????????
...Two little boys aged 8 &10 were extremely mischievous.
They were always getting into trouble and their parents knew all about it.
If any mischief occurs in their town, the two boys are probably involved.
The boy’s mother heard that a preacher in town had been successful in disciplining children.
So she asked the preacher if he would speak with her boys.
The preacher agreed. But he asked to see them individually.
So the mother sent the 8 year old first, in the morning.The preacher, a huge man with a booming voice asked the boy sternly…
“Do you know where God is? Son!”
The boy made no response;
just sat there wide eyed with his mouth hanging open.
So the preacher repeated the question in an even sterner voice.
“Where is God?”
Again the boy made no attempt to answer.
The preacher raised his voice even more and now shook his finger in the boys face and bellowed, “Where is God?”
The boy screamed and ran out from the room, directly to his home and dove into his closet, slamming the door behind him.
When the older brother found him in the closet, he asked, “what happened?”
The younger brother, gasping for breath replied “Brother, we are in big trouble this time….........……”God is missing, and they think we did it! !!!!!!”..

Asking us not to tell you there is no God is unfair. There may or may not be a God as we understand him/her/it/them.
Deists believe there is one God, but that God does not interfere or intercede in human affairs. This logically leads to the conclusion that prayer is useless, since all prayers are answered "no" by default.
Atheists believe there is no God; think of Soviet Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, first human to orbit Earth, who said "I see no God up here."

And again, I know this is not a totally correct version of the quotation, but I just can't come up with a good citation to the correct version now.
But I also offer the story of a female scientist hired by the Vatican to disprove miracles which allegedly occurred via the nominees for sainthood. (Saints in the Catholic faith are often named based on miracles they allegedly performed during their human lives). She was told from the VERY top of the Vatican to spend, consult, test, challenge and question every claim by any and all of the science at mankind's disposal. This was no joke; the Vatican wanted the miracles either proven or disproven if humanly possible. She later wrote that she fulfilled her tasks to the full, examined each claim, examined written and physical evidence, consulted with experts in various fields, made written reports to the Vatican hierarchy of each review, was questioned and challenged by very-high up officials (some with scientific education and training as well), and concluded that in some cases a miracle certainly seemed to have occurred outside any Earthly explanations. And for the final surprise...she was an atheist, who somewhat ruefully admitted a certain wonder at her own discoveries.
