I am getting to wonder. Nature here is in a mad rush. Blossoms early and done, fruits setting. No migration of birds this spring. Few here nor singing. Crickets already when should not be til August. Acts like July or later. Wonky weather. 3 days of 90 and two weeks of 65. I see plants in flower a month early and setting seeds already. One thing for sure, woodshed gets filled fast and extra!

The seasons seem to be changing around Orzz, your right insects coming on earlier, weather changing as fast are a mood swing.. It's meant to be the warmest winter on record here, so maybe more ice melt than normal on the south pole and maybe a higher sea level next year ?
After two summers of searing heat (searing by Welsh standards) from early April onwards, we seem to have returned to our usual rainy spring with sunny afternoons, bringing on lush vegetation.
I've only heard a vixen and cub calling to each other once in mid May, but didn't hear any mating calls in January/February. The cub sounded young for mid May, but don't really know. Some wild flowers and trees coming into leaf seemed a bit late, too.
We had a mild, but fairly stormy winter/early spring.
We make jokes about the summer season lasting for two days here in Wales, but we've had what I consider prolonged and brutal heat in recent years. We're supposed to having a heat wave over June and July this year, but I'm hoping the rain will continue as usual.
More blooms on the magnolia trees more than normal. Florida black bears still getting into the garbage cans. The white ibis are back currently on their migration north. They eat the fire ants.
Aren't all these 'changes' as a result of the Global warming, that in turn is a result of this world's damaged Ozone layer? That is, according to scientists... Even here, the weather has been 'contrary' and fruit trees have been bearing 'out of season' for some years now.
