In my opinion there’s nothing wrong with my profile on here but yet im not getting any hits on my profile I get a few likes but thats it I feel like I’m being judged by the fact that I am on disability . I AM A HUMAN BEING !!!! I can love like any other man Ill be waiting for your response
I'm retired, 59, and Jewish, so I get a lot of that too.
The vast majority of people here are scammers. If you mention that you are disabled in your profile, I suspect the scammers figure you aren't rich enough for their tastes. I was talking on the radio a while back. One of the guys has an "ex" that is way over-weight. She sends out her HS photo and lives off the money that rolls in.
Just a fact of life. Human nature is always at its lowest when people are left to their own devices. And this place is a perfect example of that.
So, the answer is, "The good women aren't taken; they just aren't there anymore." (The women have the same or worse problem.)

I am afraid that the disability part may be the problem after all. You can not blame any woman for being careful with someone who has mental problems... Depression, anxiety, autism, PSTD. It's quite a challenge in my opinion...

Sadly I agree with you. It shouldn't be that way but people do tend to look at you different when you have a mental illness.
Another thing. Anger is unattractive, really unattractive. I been single since god knows when, I have mental health issues too and understand exactly the frustration you are feeling. Its no good to let it anger you though because like I said, its really unattractive to women. Take it in stride, maybe check out some support groups for your affliction. You can make good friends there and though its not for dating, it do happen.
Maybe their aren't many 5 feet tall women in this site. Maybe all the violence in Chicago might be a reason for no one biting. You're criteria of what you would like in someone else is kind of uh thick and picky?

I agree. Very young women don't want a man who they have to take care of their medical needs or even have to walk on eggshells so they don't anger the guy. Most young women want to go out dancing and party all night long.
I remember meeting a guy who had one leg. He was a great lover and the missing leg didn't make any difference. There were other reasons why I didn't pursue a relationship with him.
I don't know if disability is a true term for autism but it is probably the only disability that I might not get involved with. You need to be educated to know how to be patient with it. I think (not sure) that Selene is trained in this.
There are good women on CS. I am a good woman but I am too old to want a relationship even though I could still light up his life

I understand it. In my case, I have it under control with medications and therapy. Often though people have those conditions that are not well controlled and I do know what comes with that. Some people have mental illness and have no idea they have it and refuse treatment when confronted. Its a messed up area of medicine.

In my opinion, there’s nothing right about your profile . Your profile doesn’t scream fun , or any other aspect of your personality that would encourage women to pursue you .

May be you are not being judged because you are on disability but simply are asking to meet a woman who is a very ''particular way''. You want a woman who is mature, intelligent, self-supporting, self-sufficient and self-reliant BUT ''knows how to take care of her man'' and ''knows how to show undevided attention to her man''... not sure those are compatible as a self-sufficient self-reliant woman may well have to prioritise doing the things that make her self-sufficient over ''giving undivided attention to her man''. May be your profile lacks coverence in some ways...
Also the words ''god fearing'' put a lot of people off...

His profile says he has all of the mentioned problems... We don't happen to choose one of them... I have experience with someone who had manic depression, it doesn't matter what age you are, it's not something one would be fine with...to say the least. If I knew he had it, I'd probably wouldn't be bothered anyway, but now as I know what it is, no chance of me getting involved again in this mess...
Op, I don't think you are going to have much luck here, you can see what you are dealing with here. My advice to you would be to look for a more inclusive place and I think I will do the same.

Seems you dont really understand the concept of ADVERTISING -self promoting or make them an offer they cant refuse -12 camels and a chocolate bunny

I didn't ... I married someone who was bi-polar... our marriage lasted 4 years... I would not want to repeat the experience... not out of judgement of others but rather out of preference for myself ...
Years ago I outed myself here one day with having mental illness. After that, I had less than half the friends I had the day before. It was a good thing though because I knew then who had my back and who didn't. I always out myself wherever I go because of that reason. Because of my own problems in the past, I got a soft spot for "misfits" and strays. I like swapping stories with others and getting their insights on mental health.

Mental illness is no reason to stop being friends with someone (unless they are abusive). I just don't see how how that can be a criteria for being or not friends with someone. Good for you to be upfront! Misfits and 'strays' make very good friends
