It is my hope that one day luck will favor me so that I will be able to fulfill my dreams.

I've thought about this, too. I think, if I had it to do over, I would have concentrated more on my Biology degree rather than practical nursing, and worked for a Ph.D. in Biology, and then pursued a career in a small private college. For some reason, that appeals to me...I'm not at all "sorry" I entered the professional medical field; it provided a very stable (recession/depression proof) job at an above-average salary, lasted 31 years, and continues to "pay" in terms of retirement. I think being a professor of science at a college would have been more 'me'. Oh well, we get what we got.....I know I'd take that architect education, invest some doe in Google stocks

Yea, private is often more exciting and dynamic. More chance of interestig work invironment.Ofcourse you can be unlucky with collegues but heck one can then change as you're sought after.
I thought one time lawyer but glad I never went near it as it got nothing to do with fairness.

A best friend's daughter is testing for entrance to Law School. She will without a doubt be accepted. Her partner is finishing Medical School, btw. She is such a nice woman; it concerns me that she will be going into a very volatile profession. I 'got' what you are saying.
