When we write OR read words we have to remember that the sender nor the receiver is hearing the tone of voice it was typed in, they are not seeing the expression on ones face nor the gestures that we unknowingly provide were it face to face.
I looked up what it means for miscommunication and the big G gave me this:
What do we mean when we say miscommunication?
Miscommunication ("mis" + "communication") is defined as a social inability to communicate adequately and properly. It is one of many types of communication barriers.
I agree to the above statement, to an extent.
It does not add what I wrote above that and a lot of assumptions are made without the tone, facial expressions and gestures.
Being stuck in one's own box will not allow these thought processes to kick in so it has to be practiced after all, we are biased human beings when it comes to ourselves.
One thing that I forgot about being on one of these sites is exactly what I have written about, lesson learned.
I hope this helps us be better senders and, better recievers :)
