raphael119: WHAT TO DO WHEN CAUGHT IN AN AVALANCHE!!!!
During an avalanche If you become caught in an avalanche, try to: Push machinery, equipment or heavy objects away from you to avoid injury. Grab onto anything solid (trees, rocks, etc.) to avoid being swept away. Keep your mouth closed and your teeth clenched. If you start moving downward with the avalanche, stay on the surface using a swimming motion. Try to move yourself to the side of the avalanche. When the avalanche slows, attempt to: Push yourself towards the surface. Make an air pocket in front of your face using one arm. Push the other arm towards the surface. When the avalanche stops, begin to: Dig yourself out, if possible. Relax your breathing, particularly if you cannot dig yourself out. Stay calm and shout only when a searcher is near

IT IS ALSO ADVISABLE, IF A WOLVERINE IS NEAR YOU, TO TRY TO MAKE FRIENDS WITH IT! THEY ARE VERY ADEPT AT DIGGING OUT OF SNOW WHEN YOU BURY THEM! IF YOU EVER FIND A LITTER OF BABY WOLVERINES, TRY TO STEAL ONE FROM THE MOTHER! IF YOU BOTTLE FEED IT AND NURSE IT 24/7 YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT PET. IT WILL MAKE EVER EFFORT TO DIG YOU OUT IF AN AVALANCE BURYS YOU!
CANADIAN NORTH IS A WONDERFUL PLACE BUT ALWAYS BE PREPARED!

That might work if you are buried in a Roof-Avalanche!

Wolverines are wonderful animals! Actually the one animal I most admire in the wild. Highly intelligent and fierce but not "bloodthirsty or vicious" as often described or even gluttonous. Takes a lot of calories to live in their environment and they are always moving. They are being trained for search and rescue after avalanches. Wolverines train much quicker than dogs. I wonder if they can be used to search after earthquakes or landslides?

https://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/nature-wolverine-chasing-the-phantom/18920/ This is a remarkable video.
I saw a video of a wolverine in A scrap with two wolves in Russia, the wolverine and the wolf locked jaws and in A few minutes the wolf was crying for mercy. I read once that wolverines would steal the bait and the victims from fur trappers in the 1700s. The trappers hated them and sptead lies about them. Gave them a bad reputation.
raphael119: I know You look quite youngin your photo.
I’ve always looked younger than my age when I was 31 I was asked for ID in sainsburys supermarket when I tried to buy cigarettes. The boy on the counter thought I was under 18. I said I’m 31 years old he didn’t believe me and wouldn’t sell them to me ffs.
