Your body is like a rented house, don't know when you will be evicted from this house.
Many organs of your body are automated. There are happening many activities in your body, they all are automated, you have no control over them. Even your thoughts are not in your control. When any feeling (anger, hatred, jealousy, greed, fear, ego, lust etc.) dominates you, your thoughts and all your actions become in tune with that feeling.
We spend our whole life learning to operate our body properly but still we are not able to learn. Till now we have not been able to control any of anger, hatred, jealousy, greed, fear, ego, lust etc.
When nothing in your body is in your control then how can this body be yours, when this body is not yours then how can this life be yours.

You don't choose your family or the time and place which you are born and these are what you are, nevertheless what we do and why emerges spontaneously and mysteriously from these preconditions. The way we automatically mirror our date is a meeting in the middle, we walk in lockstep down to our own congruence which is not the same as being in the army, being ordered to march over there and over here. Life is to do things that nobody meant. Evolution is a series of mistakes there is no intelligent design like the authoritarians prefer to believe. Life happens in a way that nobody meant and this is the closest we come to freedom.

To give one example of how embracing random enhances freedom then it's the company you keep. You can be around people who are random, you can be around people with views different to your own and therefore mirror something that is not so narrowminded. You can embrace the random and the things beyond your control for an enhanced sense of freedom in life.
