A humanitarian is a person concerned with the welfare of all humankind. A millionaire would be considered a great humanitarian if he donated much of his wealth for improving education, housing, and food for the poor.

How do you know? Can you prove it? What's the difference between the Lord and God? How do we know that God is male? So many questions but no one can actually prove their existence. We all have to die one day but my way of thinking is this. You're born and then you die. Fact! no matter what people say, end of........
Sorry I hit post. I'm now looking into sueing the Hospital that cut my throat during a medical procedure way back in 2002. You couldn't do that way back then. Yes! I know it sounds funny but now I'm really suffering with my throat. Probably scar tissue but I'm now going to pursue it. Long story...........

Every single day, many people devote their time to assist people in our communities.
They are nameless and do this because they want to.
They are volunteers, not looking for accolades.
These people are the true humanitarians in my book.

If you like to count philanthropy then I suppose it can do a lot of good. But it just seems like such a done thing to do having amassed a fortune in personal wealth. I'm too thick to know what to do with that kind of money, might as well give it away. It's the done thing. A real humanist is the billionaire philanthropist Bruce Wayne, dressing up as a bat to save a failed Gotham city from itself is going the extra mile.
A humanitarian a person that will pull a human out of the water or some fire 1st before some so called furbaby & is willing to be criticized for their action by those type of furbaby lovers,Very hard to find them there Humanitarians today
So do computers now, Pedro. There is a short story by, Isaac Asimov, "The Last Question". Multivac the super computer evolves and finally is the only "entity" left in the universe. I find it a bit prophetic.

By the way, there is humanity in almost every human being, but in some it is less and in some it is more. Selfishness and humanism both exist together in us. Sometimes we become selfish and sometimes we become humanitarian.
