What was it that you found most

- fascinating?
- disappointing?
- encouraging?

The discovery of the year? (Man or country or item or issue)
The main winner? (Man or country or item or issue)
The main loser? (Man or country or item or issue)

What did impress you most? What did irritate you most?

What, according to you, the year would be remembered for?

Keep it as short and sweet as you able. No restrictions :)

Oh gee, to start I was fascinated yet disappointed by all the private drama played out publicly and then some…. Like the Slap, the laptop from hell, Harry and Meghan, Depp vs Heard and the revealing take over of Twitter as well as the potential ramification by using tik tok. Everyone wants to rule the world. The main winners on 2022 are those maintaining their integrity.

What irritated me most in 2022 was my being easily hooked on ordering meal deliveries by grubhub, ubereats and doordash while I rehabbed from an illness and being unwilling to stop ordering in since then.

What did impress you most?
I must say I am impressed with the lengths the government will go to trying to control people

What did irritate you most?
That so many people do not look at the big picture. Free is not free. You will pay the piper one way or another

What, according to you, the year would be remembered for?

Division. So much division. blues

2022 was a year of doom & gloom .
It was meant to be a year where were were free from covid restrictions & a year where we appreciated our new found freedom .
What will I remember from this year .
The war in Ukraine.
The death of our Queen.
The energy crisis .
3 prime ministers within the space of a matter of months .
The royal family saga .
Strike after strike .
Will 2023 be any better … doubtful.

It was a good year!
And yes, sometimes the good things come in a hurtful way.
In my book it was the year of the World's next big failure and the beginning of all falling into place.
A year where truths are becoming clearer and shifts are taking place.
And the more uncomfortable and weird people found themselves to be, the better.
You need to break a leg to know what luxury it is to be able to walk.
Personally I had a great year!

<The discovery of the year? (Man or country or item or issue)>
Myself. I dove into depression at the start of the war. No, there are no relatives in Ukraine and no, there are no close relatives left in Russia. But still I got overwhelmed of the impossibilities of the size of this crime.

<The main winner? (Man or country or item or issue)>
As impossible as it sounds now, it’s Ukraine. They discovered themselves as a nation, they consolidated and they will come out of this terrible war as winners. As a nation that defended itself.

<The main loser? (Man or country or item or issue)>
Putin and his kleptocrats. And, of course, those Western putinoids, who defend Putin and his kleptocratic regime. It is as they are running his errands. But the biggest loser will be Russia. It (they? We?) will pay in one or another way for centuries. And of course, the less guilty will pay more.

Wanging: Simon’yan will be hung by her now supporters when they realize how she had them.

Putin must be held in a basement on a chain, with enough water and dog food, a hole in the floor for his convenience, for ages. Must be monitored and translated nonstop for all over the world.

The year will be remembered for the beginning of a new era. No violence. Equal rights. Solidarity. Brotherhood. Sisterhood. Humanhood… it was declared before. Didn’t happened. I’m going to turn old and die and that’s good.

You, who care still, feel free to take over

You must live in your own world, Tulefel...
Very passionate yet delusional ...
Here, watch how peacefully others welcomed the New year, or let's say it is something usual in their lives now...
The mainstream news didn't bother report it, we don't want to give the diversity a bad name, do we?!
All the little groups of entitled people are happy to trample over you for as long as you pretend it's OK.
Oh, wait, it's all Putin's fault...

I was utterly "touched" by the messages on London Eye during the fireworks.
But I must admit I felt sorry I don't fit in any important groups of special people.

You do indeed belong to a group, those who permanently have a chip on their shoulder.
