Flu symptoms come on very quickly and you get muscle aches and a high fever. Headache is very common. You will feel extremely weak and may find it hard to even get out of bed. After a few days, you may develop a cough.

In addition to drinking water, you should really drink liquids that will restore lost electrolytes from the diarrhoea and vomiting that you've done/are doing. Fresh (young/green) coconut water, gatorade and rehydration salts (dissolved in water), are good sources.

No fever. No sore throat. No gastic issues. Maybe covid? Took two weeks plus, but back to normal now. You are more miserable. Poor kid.teddybear

I was the same a couple of years ago. They tried with the stick in my throat but I was just heaving my guts out, my eyes were streaming, stomach wrenching, not good at all, she eventually gave up. Nostrils, not a problem. I doubt that I'll get Flu as I do have my yearly shot although I still suffer from head colds which has nothing to do with Flu. I've had my 4 Covid shots, that was my choice to do so, before anyone moans about it. I've never had Covid but that doesn't say that I won't get itdunno

But I think my Flu was a bad cold, and my English immune system is kicking in.

Sorry to hear that Pedro, be sure and get the flu jab from now on. Since I started getting it about ten years ago I haven't had it once.
