The person's characteristics can be felt, and no you don't need to touch them first, just in passing...
You pick up dangerous people very easily.

Yes!! Only I pick up on a lot of other things too. It can get overwhelming at times if I can't control it. Sometimes you can sense certain things about a person before they come into view as well. I'm not sure if it's a blessing or a curse.I walk past people in the shopping mall, and some make me pause, and some not...

Observation. A lot of people who are loners or were abused have that hyperawareness.I walk past people in the shopping mall, and some make me pause, and some not...

I am a loner. I do have friends and go places but it is difficult for me
