Any suggestion on how we do that? Should we found out who is producing the hate?

I guess they found out in the last war.

I watched Schindlers List last night, very difficult to watch and almost impossible to take in, much like Viktor E Frankl's book Mans Search For Meaning.

Six million, those guys were pschopaths.

Meaning in life. He discovered those who still maintained a meaning, or identified with a meaning in life were much more likely to survive the horrors of the holocaust. Here' a short description from goodreads...........

Looks interesting, considered to be one of Roman Polanski's best movies. It's taken from the book of the same about Wladyslaw Szpilman in which he describes his life in Warsaw in occupied Poland during World War II.

A terrible life becomes a philosopher because deep and meaningless is the Hallmark of those who have been through hell.

And I say it's deep and meaningless because there isn't an answer, it's the search itself that keeps the demons at bay not the interesting conclusion. The Nazis themselves reached some interesting conclusions in their own traumatized will to meaning so I maintain that it's not the answer, but the question that will see you through. Please don't come up with any interesting conclusions, it's the deep and meaningless itself with the power to endure.

I think you've missed the whole point of the book, maybe you could read it (it's quite short) and get back to me.
What Frankl was explains is that, far from being meaningless, the suffering itself has great meaning and those who were able to discover this found great strengh and the will to carry one.

To be honest, I think his crimes almost pale into insignificance compared to the inhumane brutality dished out by the Nazis over many years during WW2.
