Decent_Love: Which life is better?
Lonliness is funny. You can live alone, yet not be lonely. You can have a family, yet not have a boyfriend, husband, signifiant other etc. I live alone. Yet I am not lonely. I have no boyfriend etc., yet I have family. If a person is lonely then they are lacking something in their lives. I don't think lonliness would be a good life. I know I feel complete, not lonely. Just happy. wave

There's a huge difference between being alone and being lonely.

Have you ever thought of joining a gym, tru? Loads of old geezers go to my gym seem to spend half the day in the steam room and the sauna. A membership works out highly affordable if you go often enough, you don't even really have to work out.

Not a bad idea Ches.

Similar problems here Tru, and we hardly have a pub culture neither.
Not long ago a childhood friend of mine moved to Argentina.
I don't expect him back anytime soon hehe.

My father died a very lonely man after his gf over 13 years left him and his last ten years he was alone. I visited him every sunday for those ten years but that ofcourse was a bare minimum of sociale and could not by a longshot cover the emptyness. Thankfully he had interests in different culturelle things like collecting and paying close attention to news and updates. But stil... always alone.
No something is wrong 'up here' mate. By the way I'd pop over tomorrow for a coffy and perhaps a game of chess if I lived in England.

I'm sure somebody will find a problem with it. There's no room for positive steps in this wallowing grief hole
