If a president of the United States is responsible for not investigating conspiracy theories stemming from the 2020 election, we are no monger a functional democracy. The outlandish claims and unfounded lies that the former orange guy is still spewing, has no basis in reality.
No president is responsible for the 61 court rulings that decided that no fraud occurred in the 2020 election.
MJT and the Wacky Wing of the GOP are wasting taxpayer money and time better spent on solving any problem that the GOP is avoiding (Debt ceiling; Inflation; Medical Care; Homelessness; Immigration; National Security; and on and on....). But waging a war on the last presidential election is a non-starter and a time waster. Greene, Gaetz, Gosar, and the mental midgets of the GOP should find a hole to bury themselves. STOP with the Q-Anon Crazy conspiracies!

Unlikely it will result in impeachment. The House would have to vote on it with a simple majority to begin the impeachment process. The Democrat Party in the House outnumber the Republicans. So it is dead right there.

But if it did go forward, the Senate has a trial. To be found guilty requires a 2/3 majority vote. The Republicans do have more Senate seats than the Democrats, but not near enough to meet that criteria to convict.

So it is just political theater.
