As long as money is in your hands, it gives you happiness, but when it dominates you by riding on your head, it snatches away your happiness and peace.

Well, enjoy it while you can!. Soon there won't be anymore! It will all be replaced by digital currency.
ChesneyChrist: It means you get your own way and if you have enough of it, everyone else goes your way, too.
Unless it leads to revolution and war. The ultimate forms of competition where the relatively less-moneyed attempt to win tomorrow. The whole point of contract law is to make sure that smashing a piece of wood into your face doesn't happen but that's the rub. The law is money and contends nothing but money therefore the struggle for power will inevitably become about violence and force, become about revolution and war
Right now is a good example of this. Russia and China heading up the global poor, the world's underdog, against the west and our law of the rich world. Whether they're right to do this is another question, whether they'll eventually be better off another question

Basically the struggle now is between popular autocrats like Putin who rule through charisma and the force of their will versus the financial democracy in the west where we are ruled by a faceless clique of the wealthy. The warrior will of Putin and his gregarious fans is now clashing with the plunderer will of financial democracy and its beady eyes
Putin and others are basically challenging the idea that money makes the world go round. It's power of personality, it's race-feeling, it's the blood, it's a primal instinct which was with us long before money was even invented. That power of personality is far older than money, it existed when we were in caves
And it would be fairer now in some ways to go against the universalist creed of money and the closely related idea that people are interchangeable as monetary tokens.
For people not to be treated all the same would be fairer because that same is purely what the rich want. Take the age of retirement for example. The rich are living longer, the working class are not, therefore the working class must work for longer to pay for the rich people who are living longer. When everybody is treated the same, that same will be what the top 20% want.

Or lockdown and the pandemic. That too was an assault on the young and the poor in the interests of the old rich alone. To treat everyone all the same caused great harm to the people with greater problems in life than covid. For a brief spell under covid the rich were not so much better off than anyone else therefore they moved the earth itself to put the poor in harm's way, so they didn't have to be.
And maybe I am a bit harsh, a bit cynical and a bit too much judging by results. I don't think the intention of most rich people was to doom the poor, that's just what they've done, the intention was the marxistic understanding that poor people could be as idle as the idle rich. That the poor can afford to be not at all robust because we can. It's unfair that they have to live that way so let's take the way they live away from them and it'll all turn into a utopian safespace for some reason. Let's make the poor as high maintenance as the rich, it is absolutely let them eat cake rather than a deliberate attempt to kill the poor.
