My parents were 25 years apart. He didn't want kids because he thought he was too old. Mom told him her dad died at 45 when she was nine so age is not a good factor. But, I think 20 is the most. When dad died, mom was 55 and had his mind set of 70s. So spent the last years acting like an old woman.
I see the age gap when it comes to thinking, morals, experience, ideas and health. It strikes me as insane when I see some movie actor with a young woman who is birthing his baby when he is 75 or 80! Better have a ton of money to leave her.

I see problem as being around to assure the kid finishes college at 22. At this stage I’d probably only date someone a few years older any more than that we would be at different stages in our life . Wouldn’t date anyone younger.
