Why is it that for every one moment of happiness we experience ten moments of sadness?

Mood swings can happen and make things bad. Watch out for the mood swings folks.

I think you make your own happiness. If you are truely happy with yourself, there shouldn't be as much sadness. There will be bumps in the road. I've had some potholes too, don't get me wrong! I just filled them in, or went around them. You can choose to move on, or be stuck on that sadness. I, too, think it's the your perspective on things. If you can laugh at some of the downfalls in life, you will be much better off.

This is just my opinion.

I DO BELIEVE THAT WE ARE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE CHOICES IN LIFE AND SOMETIMES WE DO MAKE THE WRONG CHOICES.I DO BELIEVE THAT THIS IS PURELY OUR OWN FAULT AND NO ONE ELSE IS TO BLAME OR SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CHOICES THAT WE MAKE EXCEPT OURSELVES.I KNOW FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCES IN LIFE, THE CHOICES I HAVE MADE WERE THE WRONG CHOICES AT THE TIME, BUT I WENT AHEAD ANYWAY BECAUSE I NEVER SAW THE BIGGER PICTURE AT THE TIME. PERHAPS I DIDN'T WANT TO SEE IT OR I COULDN'T SEE IT!!! AND SO I BELIEVE THAT WHEN WE MAKE THE WRONG CHOICES - WE EXPERIENCE MOMENTS OF SADNESS - EVEN IF IT IS 10 MOMENTS OF SADNESS FOR EVERY 1 MOMENT OF HAPPINESS BECAUSE WE DIDN'T TAKE THE TIME TO SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE IN THE FUTURE!!!
AND THAT IS WHY I THINK THAT FOR EVERY 1 MOMENT OF HAPPINESS, WE EXPERIENCE 10 MOMENTS OF SADNESS!!! THAT IS MY OPINION ANYWAY!!!

As much as I'd like to say otherwise, I have to agree with the statement that for every one happy moment, I get ten sad ones. Speaking from personal experience, of course, but...

I dunno. In a way, I make my own happiness when I need it, and let the sorrow comfort me when I'm alone. It's complicated to explain. But I understand it, though. =3

To enjoy happiness, we must have something to compare it to.

You are Christian-(Holyness) Maybe you are being refined, or being prepared for a higher calling!

With much responsibility comes much sacrifice. Is it worth it to you?

Is your Holyness from your relationship(heart) with God, or from your Religion(law)? Trust me...It makes a difference!

Hang in there!

I seem to be averaging about one for one so far. lol
The sacrifice of the pain, is definately overcome by the elation of love.
A few months of suffering and a renewed understanding of one's self, make for a positive change.
I believe all this is geared to help us better pick our mates.
"Selection of the fitest" as it were.
