I notice comments from women here in the forums, and in their profiles, that state...

I want a man that will stand up to me,

or won't roll over for me...

The way I see it, there is a whole world out there to fight with. There will be peace in my home, even if that means I'm the only one there.

Why would I want in a relationship that's going to be a struggle?

I will take a woman who will roll over on melaugh

I agree--I am very laid back and I don't want a woman who likes alot of confrontation.handshake

I've had the relationships where you yell and fight. I hate them. I'm beyond that. Peace at home brings peace everywhere in your life. I don't want a man to "stand up to me". I want one to be "beside me", as I am for him. I have that kind of relationship at this time and I couldn't be happier for it.

Me, I am looking for a man who will take the lead and be the head of the household, yet also be willing to listen to my input as well. I am tired of being the boss all the time... maybe this is just my upbringing but I truly believe this is what would truly make me happy angel

I agree with the question regarding struggle, no good at all. I think that in some ways, I could correlate a relationship with dim mak, but many probably wouldn't like it so I'm not going to write a mini-novel that'll bring the flamers out.

I think what they meant by those comment's is they want a guy that's going to let them know when they're wrong? Alot of guy's won't speak their mind's when it come's to relationship's. Maybe I'm dead wrong on this, but that's how I take those comment's.dunno

I am past the fighting stage...It doesnt mean I wont stand up for myself or give my opinion but I think but it means doing it in a way that affords a healthy respect for both my SO and our relationship so that we are at peace yet can still disagree!!!!!

That would be a good point.

Not sure if he meant that...

I usually know when I've messed up (afterward, lol). Yeah, I would like to know if I don't catch it, though. Everyone is wrong sometimes.
