Thought this might amuse some of you.
Some Boeing employees at an airfield decided to steal a life raft from one of the 747s in for servicing. They succeeded in removing it & getting it home.
Shortly after they took it out for a float on the river but not before long were amazed to see a Coast Guard helicopter coming towards them.
It turns out that the helicopter was homing in on the emergency location beacon that activated when the raft was inflated. doh:
They are no longer employed at Boeing!:
