Do you think its too fussy to be very specific in your profile about what you are looking for?

hi blue no i dont think so confused you have to set out what you want in a man or woman for that matter in saying that my 1ns not that good but then again i go on whats in side a person not what they look like

Hi Mike - Well, i think a great smile and heart warming eyes is a good start, not keen on large men (and apologies for using that) but thats because im only little lol and i don't like the thought of being overpowered i guess. But I am one for looking deep into someones soul and seeing potential, personality & character is extremely important

I don't personally see anything wrong with being specific, after all, if you get what you're asking for, you'll be happy?

Hi Mike - true, you certainly wouldnt be with someone for the sake of having someone, whats the point in that, think everyone has a particular style/look/character/personality that rocks their boat lol and its just a case of finding that person...eventually..or letting them find you lol thats what i should be saying

Sorry to butt in.......
You can have an idea in your mind of the type of person you are looking for but I feel a degree of flexibility is always a good thing. Maybe use your profile as a guideline moreso than a dictate? You may find the person of your dreams is a year or two either side of the age range you have stated. They may have similar interests to a degree but to have some differences is no bad thing. If you are so alike, what is there to talk about? What is there to learn about each other? No, don't be too rigid - give yourself a chance!!wave yay

Thanks for the advice Dandelion, thought if i was a bit more descriptive then i might not have to let anyone down lol, that sounds pretty cocky, and i dont mean it to be, i know the attraction varies dependent on each person and i am capable of seeing whats on the inside but there are certain things that put me off and I don't like to hurt peoples feelings

I've had a few comments about my profile being too long, but hey it's about me & my interests & if someone read's it & aren't into same as me or find they couldn't stand my interests it saves wasting their time & mine. Yes flexibility is a must, there are always times when you have to do something for your partner you're not keen on, but if you really care about that person & love them you'll do it. (i won't cut my hair though!)

Of course, you know what you want more than anyone. If you broaden your range a little more, yes you will get some that you are not interested in. But that then means you can sift through more contacts and select those that interest you. By limiting your "requirements", if you like, you are not giving yourself that choice - then someone could slip through your fingers.

JMO! WIsh ya luck, keep posting - good to see ya! wave
