real love is having the person you love on your mind all day every day, waking up in the morning and not being able to think of anything else than the person you are in love with, getting goose bumps and going all tingly whenever you hear her voice.
wanting to spend your whole life together, knowing that you are perfect for each other.
if you both want the same thing then nothing can come between you.

Real love is accepting the person for who they are... all of their faults, loving everything about them. Not wanting to make them someone that they are not. Then giving them all of yourself without a thought of getting anything in return... that to me is real love

if that is infatuation, then that's where I went wrong. I woke up always thinking about kissing her good morning, went to work kissing her goodbye, called her everyday at lunch to tell ask her how she was doing (while she was working) then could not wait until I got home to kiss her hello and spend the rest of the night laughing and talking and/or making plans for the weekend...

Well, there's nothing wrong with being infatuated with the one you love. One doesn't rule out the other.
But being totally infatuated with a person doesn't automatically equate to being in love with them either.
When I think of love, I think of how I loved my mother. That was love. I can love a woman in that same way. But I also hope that I'm infatuated with her too.
I think you really need both, love and infatuation, for a romantic relationship to really work.

Real love, is what we all desire. We probably have had it already once in our lives. But it either got away or it broke your heart. Real love is your first love. Back when you thought of all the innocence about love. Now you know about cheating, communication, lies, lies, and more lies, temptation yadda yah. But, now we all dont want to give love a chance to be innocent again.
