What you've just described is more likely to be lust at first sight, or physical attraction. They might have a minging personality when you get to know them so you'd not love them very much then!
And some people have great personalities but mingin morals?

Some people with mingin personalities have those personalities because of past experiences, bad relationships, marriages; childhoods etc and sometimes just sometimes, their personalities change when somebody walks into their life that can give them back what they lost or what they feel.
How many times have you watched the telly or read stories about our aged generation who eyes have crossed the table and 60 years later they are celebrating their silver wedding? Ok it doesn’t happen that often but if people close their heart to it; it will never happen.

I don't think anyone on this site has their heart closed to possibilites or else they wouldn't be here. I think as people get older they get get more cynical, or is that a defence mechanism against getting hurt?
And anyway if they were together after 60 years they wouldn't be celebrating their silver wedding. That happens after 25 years.
