He had cleaned up his life apparently in the last year or so, he was a drinker and a pill popper on and off for years, but the damage appears to have been done as they think it was his heart. An excellent entertainer and far too young to be gone.
I don't think anyone here claimed it was sports, though it helps to be athletic. I watch it to get pointers on how to work a crowd. Some of the biggest stars in wrestling are there not because they can "beat people up" but because they can control a live audience better than a lot of the biggest actors in Hollywood, Guerrero was one of them. I remember seeing him do a promo in the ring where he had 1 prop and nobody else. Without a word spoken, he controlled that crowd and told a story for 5 full minutes. It was truely amazing to watch.
Wow!! I havnt watched wrestling since like 7th grade....GO VON ERICKS!!! LOL! However this was so sad....I was watching that too Laurie. It sucks when young people pass, especially ones who have FINALLY gotten back on the right path after being on the wrong one for so long. God Bless....
He was one of my fav wrestlers to watch live, cause hes like a cartoon charactor in the ring, and no matter how "bad" he was, I still had to like em lol. He will be missed too, cause nobody would work the crowd like he could, and he put alot of fun back into wrestling.
i watched Monday night Raw and Smackdown Friday night and it was amazing the performance that was put on to pay respects to Eddie and his family and to see just about all of the other wrestlers speak of Eddie with respect
Love goes out to his family and friends Eddie will be missed
