They're just borrowing it, will give it back in the fall. And no, they don't pay interest, at least not here. Just like they don't pay interest on that big refund check they send when ya overpay taxes.

These are millions of hours.
I'm curious and would like to know what they are doing with all the hours they got.
Are they lodging them in a bank?
And if they do, are they getting interest?
And if they get interest, are they paying it out to us when they give the hour back in autumn?
And inquiring mind wants to know.
