If your child was drowning would you jump in if you knew you were going to die but your action would save him/her.

<-----without a moments hesitation.

In situations like that I don't even think.

I just react and deal with whatever the consequences are.

And my natural instinct is to help anyone even if I never saw them before in my life. I just react. I don't think in those situations.

Don't have any children, but would walk through fire to save my niece the pain of a scraped knee, because it would hurt "ME" less.

I can't even wrap my brain around what an absolute horror it would be to see a child of mine in pain.

How could you ever know you were going to die anyway?

I'm too pig-headed to think that way. I can always imagine that there's a way that I could save myself too. After all, I'm Superman and don't even try to tell me any different because I won't believe you.

How about the child of another?

If you knew... without doubt ...you would die.

Would save the child of another?

(I would as stated above..."I would walk through fire")

Saving another would be paramount to myself. So, yes to saving someone, even if it meant I may die.
Doing it for a child is a no brainer for me.

I would without a thought of dying. I'm a shell my spirit
will continue to live. I have no fear of dying. Life is
precious expecially the life of a child. I would give of
myself completely to give a child a chance to live, grow in knowledge, and procreate.

I would try and save him/her from certain death but I would look out for myself too. Most of the time when it's too late, it's just too late.

I think that a lot of folks say they'd jump in after their child if it came down to it. I know I would if I really, really knew the child would survive everything then I definitely would.

It might sound a little selfish but I really don't care. Children shouldn't be left unnatended like that in the first place.

At the same time I think that I probably would. Depends on the circumstances. Like my friend almost drowned in the Missouri River but his brother saved him. They both survived.

Going to the beach is a whole lot more dangerous cause the undertow can pull you out without you even knowing it, especially if your a kid.

I have heard stories about people that have done this in my life. Sacrificing theirselves for the life of a child. I honor those stories cause they're based on the courage that makes us who we are.
