thanks, its always good to know theres prople oyt there supporting us, iwas in afghanistan as soon as 9/11 happened, and then after that it was iraq, were ive been a few times now, so by the age of 19 i had been awarded 2 operational medals, not many 19 year olds can say that
Nah, I don't like it, the edinburgh people just speak as if they've still got a mouthful of porridge and the Glasgow accents even worse, completely grates on me.
Yeah, I just remembered I had a boyfriend from Aberdeen once and his accent was worse thant the edinburgh/glasgow ones put together, maybe I should have given him a mention in the dating non british blokes thread now I come to mention it. My best mates scottish though, just as she don't come on here and read this or she'd kill me
Nah, seriously it's the lingo that confuses me sometimes more than the accent all the wees, ayes and ecks and when they och aye da noo I'm totally lost. I'm sure they're speaking in scottish forked tongue!
