I liked Diana because she wasn't afraid to show her emotions and be the person she wanted to be! A real person with real feelings... as for Camila... Yet another cardboard cutout seemingly devoid of even a heartbeat!
I'm not really a follower of the royal family, my life, and that of friends & family, is far more supierior, to that of anyone else, but if I recall correctly, there's been a sparkle between Camila and Charles, for a while now,
Can't recall, how long it was, before Charles formed the 'new relationship', with Camila, but I don't get a sense of great mourning, between Charles, & Diana.
I guess in a sense, no-one deserves to be treated, the way she has, but then again, everyone's open to their own opinion...
I seem to recall that, as well. I think that's the reason, as to why, people hate her so, but that's a good enough reason to me.
I also get the impression, that Camila's 'trying' to be the next Diana, but no-one'll ever come close to her, she's the only royal, which I didn't dislike...
Charles was seeing Camilla before Diana was 'spotted' for his wife and baby machine,he never stopped seeing Camilla, and was with her the night before Dianas wedding,Diana didnt have a clue what was ahead of her,...the best that came from it was William and Harry,Princes of the 21st century.
Well, the throne will be handed to Charles, though i think Charles should hand it to William,he is in fact being primed for this,William would be far more respected than Charles....
Why did we love Diana like we did? Because she was vulnerable and we could all see that. We could see how that pompous prig she had the misfortune of marrying treated her. I am sure that she was " targeted" many years before and those that are in the know probably groomed her for the marriage but they surely couldnt have missed the fact that she had emotional problems right from the start and I am sure that Charles knew exactly which buttons to press to get her started which then made her look like some kind of nutter. I think the whole Royal family were cruel to her and didnt support her like they should have done. I dont believe that she went into the marriage knowing what was expected of her which was to keep her mouth shut, have his babies - preferably boys - and close her eyes to his philandering with horse face Camilla. I think at the start she was truly in love with him. It was the way that they treated her that made her go searching for love in all the wrong places for so long. Who knows whether she would have made it with Dodi? And who knows about the circumstances surrounding her death - I guess we will never know but it was tragic for everyone not least of all the boys who at least dont seem to be as pompous as their father. Having said that he is pompous that begs another question - Is he the way he is because of the way he was brought up - raised to be King - Andrew seems much more relaxed and " normal" so maybe as second in line he got away with more. Maybe we should pity them all really. I dont like the way she behaved over the whole Diana thing but at least the Queen has devoted her life to the country and it cant have been easy, especially when her children were small. I wouldnt want to be any of them.

why should charles hand over the throne to william then ? ..the only person fit to be king should surely be the one groomed to be king ...or does the country hate camila more than they love charles ?
