Your only seven years old.. And right from the start.. You have had my heart.. Since the day you were born.. Blue eyes,like diamonds from the sky.. Long blonde hair with strands of gold.. Your so precious,a true gift I'm told.. I prayed from my heart,to the heaven above.. Asked,God for a little girl.. With his grace if only he would.. And your a miracle that's for sure.. He sent us an angel from heaven above.. Who presents were felt by everyone.. Such a beautiful small little thing.. When those eyes,and that little face.. Look up at me,warms my heart completely.. How am I suppose to say no?to this little girl.. When Mommy and Daddy say,"I don't think so".. You run to me,in hopes that I wont.. And that you might get your way.. It's hard but, I try to do what's right for you.. And don't let you do things you shouldn't do.. Your first day of school,oh my that was rough.. I still remember,was like yesterday.. It was hard to leave you,harder to walk away.. You did fine and it was I that wanted to stay.. Than came time for your first school play.. Seeing you up there,saying your lines right on cue. Was so proud,there is my little angel growing up.. So special to me and everyone around.. When you cry it nearly breaks my heart.. You run and jump on my lap,with your arms apart.. A big kiss and a hug,after a while.. I'll wipe the tears, and rock you a bit.. Till you get over your little girl fit.. A kiss on the cheek,and off again.. Just to see what you can get in.. Whether it's good or it's bad.. When I'm asked,what's her name? Kaitlyn,but to me.. I call you princess..
