It is your love,I try to find..
Buried so deep and twisted inside..
Pain and sorrow,brought you here..
Wanting to start life again..
Afraid, to love and hold someone near..
The wanting is there,fear has it's hold..
Your heart was broken,once too often..
I try to reach you,my voice you don't hear..
Your soul is pure and faith gives you strength..
But,to love again your just not sure..
To allow another to share your feelings..
You hold my hand,as I wipe a tear from you eye..
It's ok,by your side is where I'll stand..
Sharing what love I've uncovered..
For I too have been hurt..
Time and prayers have healed the wounds..
Broken and battered,I made it back..
To find you,the one I should of had..
I'll wait till you are ready..
Feelings aren't so cut and dried..
Understanding and communicating..
and letting out the love inside..
That's what worked for me..
Maybe this will not be a new love..
But a friendship built on trust..
And in the days ahead..
We'll be here for each other..
It's your love,we will try to mend..
