So long as they're not Catholic, I'm happy. My ex-wife is Catholic. We were required to take marriage classes and I was told I had no say in which religion my kids would be brought up in. In short, I was treated like a black marrying a white

almost any religion or no religion at all is fine with me. i do have to draw the line where religion becomes completely controlling of every thought or behavior, the rules are impossible to live by, or women are mistreated in any way because they are considered less valuable than men. other than that, i'm open to anything.

i personally don't believe in organized religion, although i do believe in a higher power, be it god or something else. i have no problem with other people's beliefs as long as they have no seriously negative impact on me.

I'd prefer my man to be religious... but if not, Spiritual is okay with me, too.

Religion doesnt matter to me.. but i wouldnt date anyone who's religion said they couldnt date me because i didnt agree with their beliefs.. .. i dont put much stock in any religion that doesnt teach tolerance and understanding. I'm spiritual myself, but not religious...and the stupidest relationship I ever had (the last one) was one in which the guy decided he couldnt date me anymore (after a year) because I wasn't the same religion he was.. and I refused to convert. I would never ask someone to change their beliefs for me, and I would never change my religion if i didnt have fath in the religion i was changing to.

I married someone who was raised Catholic and was even an alter boy in his youth. That is when I learned what hypocracy was...sigh

BTW...Some of the worst and the best people I have met have been raised Catholic...

It isn't what religion you are that makes you special it is WHO you are inside and just because someone goes to church doesn't make them a better person than one who doesn't.

Beats me how they're treated now. Back maybe 20 - 30 years ago would be pretty much frowned upon.

I used that statement as a metaphor.

As far as the priest was concerned, I was a Protestant. He was of the old French Catholic thinking back then...........like in 22 years ago

My Sister In Law is catholic, and my brother is Lutheran. They had to take classes but for them, what religion they raise their children in...well, it's up to them.
