whats peoples views on this? me personally i can see it from both sides, if he goes he will become a prime target not just putting his own life at risk but that of his fellow men,im just wondering on other peoples thorts?

I think they've shot themselves in the foot there really. They should have either QUIETLY decided to send him or not to. All this song and dance has resulted in them being damned if they do and damned if they don't now, eh??? To backtrack now only serves to inply his life is more important than the other men - they must have known it was bound to happen.

I agree he will be a specific target and, as the spokesmen say, putting him and his men "at unnessary risk"......... How much risk do you need be put at?? They are going out to fight insurgents..... its a war situation, in effect. Risk?? Of course!! Mmmmmmm....

At the end of the day, yet again, its not about fighting for the greater good......... it comes back to politics!!

In my opinion they should have let Harry go to Iraq,they would never of but him in harms way,he would have been a figure head,a publicity opportunity to justify this hopeless,endless war we've been dragged into unnecessarily.And if he had been captured or killed then maybe it would have caused the outrage this goverment need to finish this war and pull our men out.A man dies now its old news by tomorrow except for the families he leaves behind and a memorial every year,but if Harry was killed then the outcry could be the push this war needs to end it.Pull our me out and leave them to there own devices,how can u help people who don't want helping.Well thats my opinion I'm sure that some of u will hate it but we are in a democracy where everyones entitled to there own opinion.

I agree with D on this one.

There was absolutly know way on this earth they would allow a heir to the crown in such a war ridden area. They leave the fighting to the real soldiers and not those wishing to play pretend.
