Actually, yes, you have a point. When I lived in the Rockies (real wilderness, I can assure you!) it was vast and if you got lost, there would be every chance you would NEVER be found! But what about the authorities?? Surely there would be an official search at some point?

Go to a very poor country, where people have other way of life, where babies start going to the fields with theirs parents in early age...cause there is no baby sitter or the baby just needs brest feeding, and mumy has to go to the fields...

That's an amazing story. I just looked up this tiny place. Off the coast of Africa; an island formed by volcanic activity and colonized by Portugal. The will to live can be so incredible. I couldn't find the story on the web...any ideas where to find more information?

He was feeding a cow or so, then it started running into the huge forest.The boy cryed for help but couldn't be heard. He said when it rainned, stormed, he used to cry a lot. He stayed there for 8 months, eating fruits...
This was shown today at the news here, it's touching, thought i'd share this. They now call him little Tarzan.
