I am new to the site and usually don't respond to things but I like your answer. You seem honest and your answer is probably what most men want but are afraid to admit to their homies who are still obsessed with finding a model like chic. I think that men need to ask themselves, what good is an empty pretty face? Women, we need to be doing the same with our guys but more along the lines of: what good is a man's money he freely spends because he can? What's wrong with a man who has an average paycheck who gets you a gift with his last few dollars that could have went to those fly shoes in mall?
AMEN, Hennery! Beauty in body is to me a matter of proportion; the love of my life (who - ALAS - left me) is 5'10 and 150 lbs in all the 'right' places - a bit long-waisted but VERY long-haired, and broad shouldered with extra large, strong hands. See, I was spoiled. Most of us divorced guys just realized too late the treasures we really had... ( * S I G H * )
Proportioned. Not carrying too any extra pounds. Not big breasted. Not skinny, or too slim, as sundance4956 said, OK to look at that's all. Not the five days a week serious work out types. Muscles on women are not good. Feminine to the eye. Can look good in jeans.
I've no problem with women adding a few pounds as they age, in many cases they look good for it, but on the otherhand, there is a limit. I can't believe that a woman is attracted by a guy who hasn't seen his best friend for 20 years because his belly is in the way.
Looks attract, but there has to be a personality behind it and a ready smile and ability to laugh is an absolute must. Women place too much emphasis on their looks/size, when I don't think they need to in reality. Just do the best with what they've got and that will be just fine, regardless of what the media portray.
I found that most of the guys on here really do prefer a woman who has a little meat on her-they flirt with the skinny pretty ones, well, because they are just that! Just like we flirt with the hunks, I guess-I only found 2 true men on here who are my friends and I imagine will be for a long time to come-don't let it worry you-if you aint good enough for them...they aint good enough for you--that saying is soooo true!
