Actually the cool thing about where I live I can watch the sunrise over the Atlantic which is a 20 minute deive from my house, then I can drive west and watch it set over the Gulf of Mexico which is about either 45 minutes if I go to Key Largo or 1 1/2 hr or so to Naples. I've never done it but I'd like to one time.

Well, I would like sunrises, but there are too many trees east of me to really see it.
I have a beautiful view of the sunset over the river, and sunsets are usually much more colorful.

See the Sunsets are better . For some reason I think more people are drawn to sunsets than sunrises. or this is just me?

Good morning, my friend!!
I have seen both, of course, and both are just spectacular in their own way. The sunset is serene and calming, the sunrise more vibrant and inspiring.......... I wouldn't want to choose but if I had to, I would choose the sunrise. The wakening of a new day, the birds start the dawn chorus, the light breaks through and the sunshine promises a welcome new day..... the sunrise is reassuring, we get another brand new day...... maybe just one more, but another nonetheless!!
