People on here that have gotten to know me know that last month, December 7, I lost a very good friend of mine to a massive heart attack. The loss was expected since he had been battling a long illness, but the hurt is none the less. In his memory, Id like to share a poem that he had written for his mother after she passed. He had always wanted people to read his work and he took great pride in it. I know that we have probably all read better, but this is for him. Please, no negative posts and thank you all for letting me help him acheive one of his dreams, even after his death.

I MISS YOU

I know you have been gone for so very long
That the pain of you leaving should have long been over
But, I miss you everyday

The memories of you are
Still fresh in my mind
And wont let me forget you

They haunt my every moment

The love I have for you never dies
It grows stronger every day

My friends and family tell me
That I have to let you go
To move on with my life
.....I try......

But, for some reason
I can not let you go
I wish I could

....I miss you....

specialk. I am truly sorry to hear of your loss. It is so hard to lose someone we love. You are a very special person to make your friends dream come true by posting his poem for others to see. I'm sure he is smiling down on you from Heaven right now. His poem is touching.
