The thing that I hold and cherish is our rights. We have right to say what we want.We have right go to whatever church we want to worship at.We have right to vote to decide who will be our leaders. And not be dictated to by someone who is feared and slaughterd his own people.Let me think for minute yes it was US captured him .And if Im thinking right the division is in Kentucky.Yeah we had go out capture him for that country not mention all our soldiers we have lost just to make it a better place to live in.And how do they repay us by bombing us wherever they can, killing whoever they dont give a damn. Here we are free to be,whatever we want to be.
Truth is governments provide solutions where the private sector won't. As long as people control the government as is happening to a large extent in the United States--the governmentwill continue to produce and require solutions to social ills because the 'majority of the people are not rich and powerful, and therefore legislate for themselves what society will not give them voluntarily.'
The world has yet to come up with a system of government which provides a total solution--although the government in the United States has come the closest so far.
The difficulty is that 'goodness and fairness' are moral issues, not political ones.
Government is the attempt to mandate goodness and ensure fairness. There is only one place where goodness is born and that is in the 'heart'. There is only one place where fairness can be conceptualized and that is in the 'mind'. There is only one place where love can be experienced truly, and that is in the human soul. Because the soul is love.
You cannot legislate morality. You cannot pass a law saying "love each other."
What is needed is a growth in consciousness, not a growth in government.
